The Awakening

Healing did not happen overnight. It required shadow work, accountability, forgiveness, and the courage to look inward. It meant releasing blame. It meant understanding my mother as a woman who did her best. It meant grieving my father’s absence. It meant breaking cycles of seeking love from everyone but myself.

For years, I lived disconnected from who I truly was. Until one day, nearing 50, that same inner voice spoke again:

“Get your passport.”

So I did.

Standing in the desert at sunset in Dubai, I felt something shift. I felt free. I felt whole. I felt guided by something divine that had always been within me.

That Spark never left. I had simply forgotten how to listen.
